“That we should stretch beyond the conceptual frameworks of our knowledge
is key to the tremendous success of the
‘At the Limits’ Series”
The model is simple and compelling; for everyone involved – the world-class faculty, the delegates and the Industry supporters – it represents a genuinely unique opportunity in an age of increasing restrictions, to provide that ‘one event in the year’ that key opinion leaders will relish attending.
Our events are exclusive, with high profile, world class speakers at the forefront of their pathologies.
Based initially around Cardiology and Diabetes, we have now established ‘At the Limits’ events in Nephrology and Oncology, among other therapeutic areas.
They feature presentations from the most respected and internationally recognised speakers – the kind of clinical academics that most clinicians rarely have the opportunity to meet face-to-face, and experience has proved there is no other comparable event offering such strong positive feedback from supported delegates.
The key points are:
- Authority: The event is organised by Professors for KOLs – and so for the attendee it has the credibility of editorial independence. This is what makes the event so unique. The academic organisers are from leading international academic institutions including UCL, UCLH, UCT, the Yale Cancer Center, the Brigham & Women’s Hospital ans King’s College London.
- Exclusivity: Attendance is subject to personal invitation from the event Chairpersons and last-minute cancellations are very rare.
- Cutting Edge Independence: The Faculty and Programme are personally chosen by the Chairpersons and the subject matter involves ‘cutting edge and breakthrough clinical data’ – the kind of content many KOLs don’t have access to. This is a major draw for the attendees, as past feedback has proved.
- Professional: All logistics and delegate liaison are handled by the highly experienced and professional ‘At the Limits’ events team with 18 years experience of running these events.
