Professor Jacques M. Bonneterre, MD, PhD, graduated at the Lille II University, France. He is Board Certified and Professor in Medical Oncology.
His present position is Head of the Breast Cancer Department in the Centre Oscar Lambret, Comprehensive Cancer Center of the North of France, and he has acted as the General Director of this institution for five years.
Among teaching activities, he is coordinator of Resident Training in Oncology for the north west of France. Professor Jacques Bonneterre has been investigator and coordinator of numerous clinical trials of chemotherapy, hormone and targeted therapies, strategic phase III trials, and he is also highly involved in the development of new drugs (phase I-II trials) with the pharmaceutical industry, the EORTC, the French Federation of Cancer Centers, and such wide networks as the BIG.
He is a member of several French, European and North American scientific societies, and former President of the French Cancer Society. He has published 243 articles (PubMed, December 2013) and is author of over 360 oral or poster presentations.
