Caroline Wyatt has been reporting on global affairs for more than two decades, working as a foreign correspondent and reporting on defence and conflict in places including Kosovo, Chechnya, Afghanistan, Iraq and the wider Middle East for over 20 years.
She began her BBC career as a news and current affairs trainee in 1991, becoming BBC Germany Correspondent in 1993, BBC Moscow Correspondent in 2000 and BBC Paris Correspondent in 2003. She was BBC Defence Correspondent from 2007 – 2014 and BBC Religious Affairs Correspondent from 2014.
She was definitively diagnosed with RRMS in 2015.
In September 2016, Caroline moved from global reporting to radio presenting and documentary-making.
She is currently a presenter for Radio 4’s Saturday PM programme, as well as The World This Week on World Service Radio.
Caroline went to Clinica Ruiz in Mexico for aHSCT (a stem cell transplant) in January 2017 and has written about MS for the BBC and other outlets.
