Dr. Bove is Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of California, San Francisco, and a clinician in the UCSF Multiple Sclerosis Center. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Harvard College and her M.D. from Harvard Medical School. She trained in Neurology in the joint Massachusetts General Hospital – Brigham and Women’s Hospital’s program and completed a clinical research fellowship in Multiple Sclerosis at the Partners MS Center. She is an expert in hormonal regulation in MS, including the role of hormonal transitions (puberty, pregnancy and menopause) in women, as well as androgens in men.
